lulufish was born from two needs. The first was my need to create. The second was a need to help my son. Noah, now 2 1/2, had eczema from the time he was a tiny baby. As he grew & became more active his condition worsened. Any time he got hot or took a warm bath the eczmea would flare up and he would cry about his "hurting" skin. We tried lotions & remedies recommended by our pediatrician to ease the itching but none seemed to really work. We were told that he would learn to live with this issue as he would have it all his life.
Frustrated with watching my baby deal with his pain & itching I decided to start researching. After many months of trial & error, I developed the soaps I am using today. I am happy to report that Noah's eczema is almost entirely gone. While we have been told by doctors that it will never truly go away, he no longer experiences that pain & itching that he did before. His skin is soft & smooth AND he smells WONDERFUL! He is my soap "smell tester" & the biggest fan of lulufish soaps!
While I certainly do not make the claim that my soap will cure what ails you, it does seem, as least in our case, that getting back to basics has helped. Moving away from the harsh ingredients of most commercially manufactured soaps seems to be helping not only Noah, but many of our friends, family & loyal customers as well.
lulufish soap is a moisture rich vegetable glycerin soap made with only the finest natural vegetable oils, our best fragrance oils & occasionally a smidge of color.
As always there is NO animal testing, NO animal products (other than the goat's milk in our goat's milk soap), NO detergents, NO surfactants, NO sulfates, NO alcohol & NO sugar solutions.
I have always been a big fan of little luxuries. I love to bring a well packaged "something" home as a little treat for myself, a family member or friend. To me, there is simply nothing better than a fresh little bar of great smelling soap, a wonderful bath salt from some exotic worldly location or a sinfully silky lotion. I hope that you will find something here that you will love as well.
